Underground Paste Crew Member

Location: Northern Ontario, Canada

Roster: 14 days on / 14 days off (days and nights)

The Role

We are seeking experienced underground miners to join a dedicated Paste Crew at a leading Canadian mining operation. This position plays an essential role in installing, monitoring, and maintaining underground paste fill systems, ensuring safe and efficient support to ongoing production activities.

Responsibilities

• Safely install and maintain paste, water, air, and pump piping networks.
• Build and monitor paste bulkheads, pumps, and reticulation systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot pipe networks for leaks or damage.
• Operate service and auxiliary equipment as needed.
• Support service crews with ventilation and other underground tasks.
• Follow all safety standards and ensure compliance within the crew.

What You Bring

• Minimum 3 years' experience working in underground Paste or Service Crews.
• Hard Rock Mining Common Core (or equivalent) preferred - training can be arranged if needed.
• Strong safety record and commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and work independently or as part of a team.
• Physically fit to handle underground demands, including lifting equipment and working on uneven ground.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
