At Modern Niagara we take pride in building the environments where Canadians work learn heal and play. Were looking for a Sheet Metal Foreperson in Calgary Alberta to lead our talented crews and help deliver high-quality mechanical projects across the region.

As a Foreperson youll be the driving force behind the success of our sheet metal teambalancing hands-on supervision technical expertise and leadership. Youll ensure that work is completed safely efficiently and to the highest standard while fostering collaboration and communication across all levels of the project team.

What youll Do

• Lead and supervise sheet metal crews on active job sites
• Organize daily work plans review blueprints and ensure tools and materials are ready
• Enforce Modern Niagaras safety standards and ensure all work complies with regulations
• Inspect and verify installations meet quality design and code requirements
• Communicate progress and updates to project teams and management
• Troubleshoot challenges and support efficient practical solutions
• Mentor and support apprentices and team members in skill development

What You Bring

• Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker certification
• Proven leadership or foreperson experience in ICI settings for 5 or more years
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings specifications and technical documentation
• Excellent communication organization and time management skills
• Experience in commercial or institutional projects is a strong asset
