Sales Representative - Calgary or Lethbridge (2 Positions Available)

New West Truck Centres is one of Western Canada’s top heavy truck dealerships, and we’re growing fast. The Role

Sales and Customer Service – 60% New Business / 40% Account Management

  • Drive new business development through assigned leads, cold outreach, and personal network
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts with consistent communication and support
  • Execute a structured, customer-focused sales process from prospect to lead to close
  • Deliver trucks professionally and with care, including walk-through, service plan overview, and all paperwork
  • Collaborate with Parts, Service, and other departments to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction
  • Upsell truck sales and parts solutions through service interactions and client engagement
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, demos, and test drives as needed

Admin – 20%

  • Maintain up-to-date records using a CRM system
  • Support trade-in appraisals and product evaluations
  • Help execute sales promotions and seasonal campaigns
  • Must be a registered Apprentice Heavy Equipment Mechanic
  • Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license, is an asset

Education and Licensing

  • AMVIC license required (or willingness to obtain promptly upon hire)

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of Equipment Sales experience, ideally in:
    • Heavy Truck
    • Construction Equipment
    • Agricultural Machinery
  • Proven ability to bring or build a book of business
  • Solid CRM experience (tracking pipeline, managing touchpoints, closing deals)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common business tools
  • Strong problem-solving, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Positive, professional presence with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
