Litigation Paralegal – RAK Law

RAK Law is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team. This is a full-time position (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) that is primarily remote, with required in-office presence twice per month .

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, file, and manage motions, answers, and responses

  • Prepare case-specific documents, including memoranda and briefs

  • Respond to discovery requests (Interrogatories, Requests for Production, etc.)

  • Conduct legal research and case investigations

  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring court-ordered deadlines are met

  • Draft correspondence, invoices, receipts, spreadsheets, and other reports as needed

  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel

  • Provide trial support, including attending court sessions and recording case information

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Certified Paralegal (CP) through the National Association of Legal Assistants

  • Certificate or degree in Paralegal Studies from an accredited institution

  • Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) with the Florida Bar

  • Minimum of 3 years’ litigation paralegal experience

Additional Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software

  • Experience with Lexis and strong legal research skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and the Florida court system

  • Strong organizational skills with experience in document management

  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
