Job Description

Position Summary

Senior Financial Analyst of Japan Finance is responsible for coordinating annual budget and monthly forecast including providing guidance to business partner. Additional responsibilities include ad hoc analysis for management decision support through financial data analysis.

Universal Accountabilities

• Reporting – Prepare monthly P&L reports to explain variances from forecast, budget and prior year.
• Budgeting and forecasting – Collaborate with various functions to prepare and input to Hyperion for budget and Quarterly forecasts. Perform analyses to explain variances. 
• Manage multiple-line PL items especially for Net Sales and A&P.
• Business Decision Support – Support for identify opportunities to improve expenses and business execution by providing financial data mainly with SKU level margin report and ROI.
• Prepare various financial reports for management decision support and analysis leveraging Power BI.
• Ensured and continuously improved data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Align with Edgewell / Schick Japan’s Purpose and Vision

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience of business analysis, sales forecasting and product profitability.
• Basic knowledge and experience of Financial accounting
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Good communication skill, with the ability to act as a business partner
• Advanced Excel skills are required
• Experience of ERP (SAP) and Power BI are plus.

Report to Japan Finance manager

Co-operate with Japan commercial and other global Corporate functions.

日本ファイナンス部門のシニア・ファイナンシャル・アナリストは、年間予算および月次予測の調整を担当し、ビジネスパートナーへのガイダンスを提供します。さらに、経営判断を支援するための財務データ分析を通じたアドホック分析も行います。

Universal Accountabilities

• レポーティング：月次の損益レポートを作成し、予測・予算・前年との差異を説明する。
• 予算・予測管理：各部門と連携し、Hyperionに予算および四半期予測を入力し、差異分析を行う。
• 複数のPL項目の管理：特に純売上および広告・販促費（A&P）を中心に管理。
• 経営判断支援：SKUレベルの利益率レポートやROIを用いて、経費削減や業務改善の機会を特定・支援。
• 財務レポートの作成：Power BIを活用し、経営判断支援のための各種財務レポートを作成。
• データ品質の向上：データの正確性、一貫性、品質を確保し、継続的に改善。
• Edgewell ／Schick Japanのパーパス・ビジョンとの整合性を保つ

Required Skills and Experience

• ビジネス分析、売上予測、製品収益性の経験
• 財務会計の基本的な知識と経験
• 英語の読み書き・会話ができること
• ビジネスパートナーとしてのコミュニケーション能力
• 高度なExcelスキル
• ERP （SAP）およびPower BIの経験があれば尚可
