About the Project:

The Eglinton Crosstown West Extension will bring the Eglinton Crosstown LRT another 9.2 kilometres farther west, creating a continuous rapid transit line from the east end of Toronto into Mississauga. The Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package encompasses the design, construction, integration, and commissioning of key project components.

Position Overview:

Amico Affiliates is seeking an experienced Electrical Technical Coordinator to support the delivery of electrical systems and installations on the ECWE-SRS Project. The successful candidate will work closely with the project management, design, and construction teams to ensure technical accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and review electrical design drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site teams during construction and commissioning phases.
• Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve design and installation issues.
• Assist in preparing RFIs (Requests for Information), change notices, and technical documentation.
• Conduct site inspections to verify electrical installations meet quality and safety standards.
• Support commissioning activities, testing, and verification of electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of as-built drawings, technical data, and inspection reports.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with other technical disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical coordination within the ICI or infrastructure sector.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and low-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, AutoCAD, and project management documentation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
