Our Challenge

Our client is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Specialist to support the deployment, automation, and management of cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient operations. This role is essential for delivering innovative solutions and continuous service improvement across various projects, with a focus on supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Document issues, solutions, and procedures related to cloud and automation environments.
  • Automate deployment workflows, manage CI/CD pipelines, and optimize data pipelines across cloud platforms.
  • Support and maintain cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on deploying scalable data solutions.
  • Use command line interfaces and scripting tools such as PowerShell for system configuration and automation.
  • Configure and manage network tools like DNS, load balancers, and troubleshoot network issues.
  • Support access management tools including SSH and Remote Desktop for secure access.
  • Conduct disaster recovery testing and contribute to infrastructure resilience strategies.
  • Manage secrets and security protocols following best practices, including least privilege principles.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues in cloud environments, ensuring high availability.
  • Document system architecture, procedures, and operational metrics for ongoing improvements.

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience documenting issues, solutions, and procedures in cloud or DevOps environments.
  • 3 years supporting access tools like SSH clients and Remote Desktop.
  • 3 years with security awareness practices such as secrets management and role-based access.
  • 3 years working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP with a focus on scalable data solutions.
  • 4 years of experience using command line interfaces for system management.
  • 1 year using networking tools like DNS lookups, trace routes, and load balancing.
  • 4 years scripting with PowerShell.

Nice to Have:

  • 2 years supporting continuous delivery of bespoke solutions.
  • 2 years deploying hybrid cloud applications using Red Hat OpenShift.
  • 2 years supporting disaster recovery plans.
  • 2 years implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • 3 years working with Microsoft Visual Studio (2012 or higher).
  • 3 years managing CI/CD pipelines in large enterprise environments.
