Job Description

Job Summary:

As an accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the financial health of the company through tasks such as preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and handling tax-related matters. You will also be involved in cost accounting and performance analysis within a manufacturing environment, providing valuable insights for management decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures
• Input journal entries, manage ledgers, and prepare financial statements
• Handle accounts receivable and payable, and support cash flow management
• Assist in budget planning, performance tracking, and variance analysis
• Support tax return preparation and coordinate with tax advisors
• Conduct cost accounting and collaborate with manufacturing departments for cost analysis
• Promote operational efficiency using ERP systems
• Maintain and operate internal controls, and support audit processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or related field
• Knowledge of Japanese GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP experience preferred)
• Business-level Japanese; English reading and writing skills preferred

Salary:

Hourly rate: ¥8,000 - ¥9,600
