Overview of the Role

Youll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment at Saputo located in Saskatoon SK. Reporting to the Supervisor this position is responsible for order picking loading/unloading and general warehouse duties. Forklift experience including High Lift and Dock Stocker operation is required.

Salary : Starting wage is $22.61/hour with additional premiums of $0.60/hour for evening shifts and $1.60/hour for night shifts

Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week with a mix of day and/or night shifts weekend availability is required

How you will make contributions that matter :

• Accurately pick and assemble orders for shipment

• Load and unload delivery trucks using equipment safely and efficiently

• Receive incoming products and store them in designated areas

• Inspect freight for accuracy and report any damages or discrepancies

• Identify and dispose of damaged or leaking products

• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and floor scrubbers

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic corrective actions

• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and perform general housekeeping duties

• Update cleaning logs and other required documentation daily

• Record shift data and support inventory tracking

• Assist with unplanned tasks and other duties as assigned

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• Valid forklift certification with hands-on experience operating a High Lift and Dock Stocker

• Physically capable of meeting job demands (e.g. standing for long periods lifting up to 50 lbs working in cooler environments)

• Comfortable using systems such as SAP Maestro RF scanners and voice pick technology

• Experience in a food or dairy environment (asset)

• Strong communication interpersonal organizational and analytical skills

• Self-motivated and results-oriented; able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
