About the Role

Position objectives and position summary

Core Responsibilities: Analyze natural catastrophe risks, design insurance solutions to truly fulfill client protection gaps
Collaboration & Representation: Build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and internal global teams while representing Swiss Re Corporate Solutions
Skills & Profile: Requires a proactive, innovative mindset, technical underwriting expertise, client focus, bilingual communication (Japanese/English)

Main tasks/activities

Participates in deal teams to execute transactions.
Analyze and assess Natural Catastrophe risks to Assets and Business of the Corporate
Design an insurance structure to meet client needs, price it and offer proposals
Establish and maintain specific industry and perils expertise for underwriting
Attends local Industry events, conventions and site visits, if necessary
Contributes to other project work and accepts special assignments

Representation activities and interaction with other parties

Represent Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in meetings with clients and brokers
Works effectively with global team
Establish and maintain client and broker relationship

About You

Experience , knowledge and mind-set

Open mindset and ability for driving innovation, particularly in developing insurance solutions tailored to Natural Catastrophe risks
3+ years' experience in insurance industry is preferred
Preferably experience in cultivating and strengthening relationships with intermediaries and clients
Understands the value proposition and products with respect to commercial insurance for large corporates in Japan

Professional skills / Expertise

Technical understanding of property risk assessment and underwriting processes
Client focused with business origination and client management skills, seeks client satisfaction

The base salary range for this position will be shared with you during the interview process.
