Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring a MA RN license, BLS, PALS, and at least two years of PICU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in a hospital setting
• Day/night rotating shifts with three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every third weekend and holiday rotation required
• Care for critically ill pediatric patients
• Responsibilities include providing advanced nursing care to pediatric patients in critical condition
• Mandatory pass/fail clinical testing during orientation; failure to pass will result in assignment cancellation
• Pre-start and orientation modules are required and tracked through Workday
• Holiday and weekend coverage is part of the regular schedule
• Candidates with prior issues on their nursing license will not be considered
• Third-party education verification is required for all applicants

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active MA RN license in hand
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum two years of PICU nursing experience required
• Must submit two references, with one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Must pass a Telemetry EKG exam during orientation with a minimum score of 80%
• Candidates must live at least 200 miles from the facility for consideration
