Job Responsibilities:

• 1. SCM/WM Process Leadership 
  • Lead the end-to-end business process design for Supply Chain & Warehouse Management, including inbound, outbound, shipping, storage, and inventory control. 
  • Analyze as-is processes and define to-be blueprints aligned with Japan and global standards. 
  • Provide expert guidance in WM/EWM solution design, execution, and optimization. 
• 2. Cloud Transformation Initiatives 
  • Drive adoption of SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public or Private) and cloud-native SCM/WM capabilities. 
  • Design hybrid cloud-on-prem integration models for warehouse and logistics systems. 
  • Lead modernization and digitalization efforts using cloud tools for real-time inventory visibility. 
• 3. Solution Design & SAP Functional Expertise 
  • Perform functional configuration in SAP WM/EWM modules including: 
    • Inbound/outbound processes 
    • Picking & packing 
    • Putaway strategies 
    • Physical inventory 
    • HU management 
    • RF scanning 
    • Yard and labor management 
  • Lead integration between SCM/WM and modules such as MM, SD, PP, and QM. 
  • Create functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and custom developments. 
• 4. Project & Stakeholder Management 
  • Lead workshops with Japan stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions. 
  • Coordinate closely with offshore teams ensuring timely delivery of development, testing, and documentation. 
  • Manage project risks, timelines, and deliverables while maintaining high quality standards. 
  • Support project planning, estimation, and milestone alignment. 
• 5. Testing, Deployment & Go-Live Support 
  • Oversee SIT, UAT, regression testing for SCM/WM processes. 
  • Manage cutover preparation, data migration, and warehouse readiness. 
  • Provide hypercare and stabilization support post go-live. 
• 6. Documentation, Training & Knowledge Transfer 
  • Prepare detailed process documentation, SOPs, and user guides. 
  • Support user training sessions in coordination with business teams. 
  • Mentor junior consultants and support continuous improvement initiatives. 

Job Qualification :

• 14+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SCM and Warehouse Management (WM/EWM). 
• Strong working knowledge of: 
  • SAP EWM (embedded or decentralized) 
  • SAP WM 
  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud SCM modules 
• Proven experience implementing large-scale or multi-site WM/EWM projects. 
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes in manufacturing or distribution. 
• Experience with cloud-based SCM platforms (SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP BTP, or similar). 
• Excellent skills in functional design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting. 
• Strong stakeholder management capability in a multicultural environment. 

Preferable:

• SAP EWM or SCM certifications. 
• Experience with: 
  • RF/RFID device integration 
  • Automation systems (AGV/AMR conveyors, IoT sensors) 
  • 3PL or logistics service provider operations 
• Experience managing offshore teams. 
• Experience in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, FMCG, logistics, or retail. 
• Experience in SAP TM, MM-IM, SD-LE, or PP interfaces. 

Language Skills: Business level Japanese (JLPT N2) and Business level English
