NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel job in Spokane, Washington.
Job Description & RequirementsShift M-F with rotating Saturdays; option for 0900 or 1030 start
Minimum experience: 2 years
Required Licensure and Certifications: ARRT RT (M), BLS, WA State license
Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
Patient Types: screenings, plus variety of diagnostic and breast biopsy/procedures; biopsies/procedures experience preferred
Skills required: competency in stereotactic biopsies, proficiency in mammography positioning, technical settings, and equipment use, skilled in producing quality diagnostic studies, data entry on history sheets, and delivering quality patient care, ability to work effectively with all age groups, adapting to each group's specific needs related to radiology exams
Technology/Equipment: EPIC, Change Healthcare PACS, Digital and Tomo mammography, previous experience with Hologic Selenia Dimensions preferred
Floating: Rockwood Primary Care Clinic (1215 N McDonald Rd #101, Spokane, WA 99216 in Spokane Valley) 9 miles or 15 minutes apart
Weekend rotation: if not already part of typical schedule, could work up to 2 Saturdays/month (rotated among all mammography techs)
