Bishop & Company is searching for a full time  Talent Acquisition Specialist  to drive talent and inspire growth for a local business serving Hawai'i for over 70 years! While generally a remote position, you will need to occasionally report to the office to attend team/client meetings. This position pays $24/hr.

• Proven experience in high-volume recruitment, sourcing, and screening candidates
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
• Ability to establish trust and partnerships with hiring teams
• Proficiency in developing and executing effective recruitment strategies
• Customer service orientation and a positive candidate experience focus

• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
• Knowledge of Hawai`i’s local job market and community networks
• Ability to conduct interviews and tests to assess candidate “fit”
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, or related fields, OR
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business management, or a similar discipline

• Flexibility to work remotely, in-office, or hybrid based on company needs
• Occasional travel to different work sites, including outer islands (air travel required)
• Comfortable working at a computer for extended periods; excellent verbal communication skills required
• Willingness to work approximately 25% travel for business purposes
