Position : Expéditeur-réceptionnaire

Location : Montréal (on-site)

Durée : poste permanent

Schedule: work Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7am to 6h30 pm (11h per day) Work 33hrs but Paid 37.5hrs

Description :

Effectue diverses tâches liées à la planification et au contrôle des activités d’expédition et de réception. Peut également être appelé à accomplir les fonctions de commis à la production et d’aide générale.

Niveau de responsabilité : Procédures et tâches bien établies. Une certaine analyse est requise avant de choisir de façon autonome parmi les processus connus.

Tâches :

  • Reçoit la marchandise aux quais de chargement ou dans la cour.
  • Enregistre la marchandise dans le système de l’entreprise.
  • Communique et assure le suivi concernant tout problème de réception.
  • Emballe les marchandises et complète les documents d’expédition selon les spécifications.
  • Surveille et effectue les demandes d’achat pour les matériaux de réception, d’expédition et d’emballage.
  • Coordonne les expéditions sortantes.
  • Fournit aux clients des estimations pour l’emballage et l’expédition.
  • Livre la marchandise aux clients internes.
  • Rédige les rapports de réception et d’expédition.
  • Ramasse et distribue les sarraus de laboratoire.
  • Inspecte et nettoie les conteneurs d’expédition.
  • Opère et inspecte l’équipement de transport approprié (pont roulant, chariot élévateur, etc.).
  • Exécute toute autre tâche connexe.

Qualifications requises :

  • Éducation : DEC, DEP ou équivalent
  • Expérience : 5 ans d’expérience pertinente
  • Certification : Cartes de compétences valides
  • Lecture de plans
  • Capacité à extraire et saisir des données dans un système informatique
  • Utilisation de bases de données de production
  • Bonne connaissance du français. Connaissance de base de l’anglais (réception d’articles accompagnés de documentation en anglais).
  • Habileté manuelle.

Description:

Performs various tasks related to the planning and control of shipping/receiving. In addition, may be required to perform the duties of a production clerk and general helper.

Level of Responsibility : well-established work processes and duties. Some analysis is required before independently selecting from known processes.

Tasks:

  • Receives merchandise at the loading docks or in the yard.
  • Receive merchandise into the company system.
  • Communicate and follow up on any receiving problems.
  • Pack goods and complete shipping documents according to specifications.
  • Monitor and make purchase requests for receiving, shipping and packaging materials.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments.
  • Provide customers with packing and shipping quotes.
  • Deliver merchandise to internal customers.
  • Write receiving and shipping reports
  • Pick up and distribute lab coats.
  • Inspect and clean shipping containers
  • Operate and inspect appropriate transportation equipment (engineering, forklift, overhead crane, ...).
  • All other related tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: DEC, DEP or equivalent
  • Experience: 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Certification: Valid skills cards.
  • Reading of blueprints.
  • Ability to retrieve and enter data using a computer system.
  • Use of production databases.
  • Good knowledge of French. Basic knowledge of English is an asset. (Receipt of items accompanied by documentation in English).
  • Manual dexterity.
