About the opportunity:

The Senior Manufacturing Technical Specialist is responsible for managing projects within Operations. With limited supervision, the incumbent will lead cross functional team on various industrial activities ranging from Continuous improvement, CAPEX studies and provide operational support to solve complex issues requiring corporate level attention.

The attributes we are looking for:

• Being the point of contact for Marketing BU and responsible to handle Innovation request, assessment and feedback
• Lead Projects linked to the industrial LTP. From LTP direction given, generate technical solution that will lead to CAPEX ask, supporting details and ROI.
• Provide guidance and support to the plants for Continuous Improvement program and initiatives.
• Provide technical expertise to the plant. This includes mentoring plant teams on technical topics, support them for developing their knowledge and skills
• Conduct plant assessment linked to performance and efficiency improvement: Audit, Action plan and lead in implementation
• Support plants to resolve complex issues linked to operation, such as Quality issues, line startup or reliability, production transfer between plants.

What you will bring:

• University degree (or equivalent level of work experience)
• Degree in Engineering, Science, or Food and Agriculture/Dairy Science preferred
• Five to Seven years’ experience in the Dairy industry or relevant field
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge and understanding of plant operation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of Innovation process cycles
• Abilities to work in cross functional environment, and leading such team
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities across a multisite environment
• Knowledge of plant budgeting structure
• Advanced in computer skills (Office, SAP, Data analysis software)
