Industrial Recruitment Specialist – Permanent Full Time Opportunity On-Site
An Industrial Recruiter focuses on sourcing, attracting, and hiring candidates for manufacturing and industrial roles. They are responsible for the entire recruitment process, from creating job descriptions to onboarding new employees. Key duties include screening resumes, conducting interviews, and managing the offer process along with maintaining and building positive relationships with candidates and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Industrial recruiters utilize various channels like job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals to find qualified candidates.
They review applications, conduct initial phone screens, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers to assess candidate suitability.
Recruiters handle the offer process, negotiate salaries, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
They cultivate relationships with candidates and hiring managers, providing updates and guidance throughout the recruitment process.
Industrial recruiters stay informed about industry trends, best practices in recruitment, and relevant regulations.
They collaborate with hiring managers and HR teams to understand specific job requirements and optimize the recruitment process.
Skills and qualifications required to be successful in the role:
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with candidates and hiring managers.
The ability to build rapport and manage relationships effectively is crucial.
Recruiters need strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during the recruitment process.
Effective time management and organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software is often required.
A solid understanding of the manufacturing or industrial sector is beneficial.
This role is a permanent full-time opportunity working onsite in our office located at 336 Pine Street in Sudbury Ontario. The working hours will be 8am to 4pm Monday to Fridays.
