Overview

As a Quality Manager you will be in charge with:

  • Maintaining and improving quality and food safety systems;
  • Ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance;
  • Implementing and enhancing the environmental management system;
  • Continuous improvement and team collaboration;
  • Adhering to standards and addressing challenges;
  • Upholding a passion for excellence in your role.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage business plan and budget to achieve Quality, Food Safety and Environment objectives;
  • Propose the plan for investments and ensure the implementation of the approved ones;
  • Analyze the financial reports for Quality Systems Dept. activity and keeps a tight control of the costs;
  • Maintain a Quality, Food Safety and Environment Management System and a structured control system (Standard Operating Systems);
  • Manage, control and maintain quality control plans through PepsiCo inspection and testing methods, ensuring the compliance with the company’s specification:
    • Raw materials;
    • In-process products;
    • Finished products: QAB and third parties.
  • Co-ordinate systematic internal & external audits on the Quality, Food Safety and Environment Management System by providing information to all involved and relevant departments and manage/follow up action plans to address control opportunities. When necessary, review the quality management system taking into account the changes and developments that occur within industry;
  • Ensure the legal compliance of all quality, food safety and environmental activities. Accompany the regulatory authorities linked to quality, food safety and environmental activities during their visits, provide the required information and ensure the execution of the action plan when needed and applicable;
  • Build up and manage programs to increase the level of Quality, Food Safety and Environment Management Systems awareness of employees and suppliers including regular training, information updates and the dissemination of knowledge throughout the company;
  • Build up and coordinate programs to continuously improve the management of the people employed in Quality Systems Dept.
Qualifications
  • University degree on food chemistry, biochemistry or chemistry
  • 5 years experience in the same position

Abilities:

  • Strong analytical, leading, time-management and project management skills
  • Good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Good knowledge of computer system
  • Good knowledge of English
