Quality Control Manager

The Quality Control Manager is responsible for implementing the Air Combat Training System (ACTS) Quality Control Plan (QCP), developing quality control metrics/checklists, data collection, conducting analysis and auditing each site within ACTS.

The Quality Control Manager will work closely with the Program Manager, Site Manager & Contract Office Representative (COR) to ensure best practices are followed.

Essential Functions:

• Develop, review, and administer the project Quality Control Plan in coordination with Corporate QC.
• Enforce project Quality Control Plan and associated standards.
• Perform monthly inspection of all assigned ACTS work centers.
• Maintain detailed reports.
• Conduct safety briefings to employees.
• Chair monthly QC briefings to senior management, COR, and customers.
• Manage, schedule, review, and certify all submittals for client review and approval.
• Perform all necessary project inspections needed for compliance with the QCP.
• Conduct periodic follow-up inspections to verify work is proceeding in accordance with the PWS and corrective action plans.
• Stop work if necessary to resolve matters that affect safety, quality and/or inhibit the logical progress of work.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Temporarily stand-in as site management in cases where site manager is not available.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities but will require coordination with other project-level personnel.

• Basic working knowledge and application of Microsoft business software.
• Ability to understand and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and consider decision impact across multiple areas.
• Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
• Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to understand and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to learn and understand the Company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Must be able to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multi-task.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of relevant QC experience within an Air Force range contract.
• Previous electronics technician training or ATC certification preferred.
• Must be able to work on secure military facilities.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
• LSSGB certification preferred.
• Must have current valid driver's license and clean driving record and be qualified to operate a vehicle.
• Ability to pass a drug and background screening.
