What is the opportunity?
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our IT, Delivery and Support Team. This role is critical in supporting the successful delivery of DevOps projects and work items, while ensuring the performance and stability of the Portal. The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for thoroughly understanding work items, executing timely manual testing, analyzing test results, and clearly communicating outcomes to stakeholders.
What will you do?
· Participate in Release overview planning sessions.
· Manual Full System and Regression testing.
· Release night smoke testing.
· Participate and contribute to retrospectives.
· Understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
· Plan and build test cases.
· Build and recommend test strategies and plans to cover multiple features.
· Execute test cases and any other ad hoc testing.
· Identify, analyze, root cause and report test case gaps and work item defects.
· Interact with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, Developers and others team members.
· Identify and recommend automation test opportunities.
· Participate and contribute process improvements.
· Ad hoc requests for discovery or knowledge sharing.
· Daily touchpoints.
What do you need to succeed?
· 3+ years testing software
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to understand requirements and acceptance criteria to execute testing tasks independently.
· Detailed orientated.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multi-task across competing priorities.
· Knowledge of Scrum Agile software development practices.
