Intermediate Construction Project Manager

JSCM specializes in construction management for commercial, industrial, residential and institutional construction projects. With a commitment to delivering high-quality results safely and efficiently, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Intermediate Construction Project Manager to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Construction, the Intermediate Project Manager will oversee all phases of assigned projects, from pre-construction through to close-out. You will coordinate project teams, maintain budgets and schedules, and ensure all work meets our standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures
Prepare and negotiate contracts, change orders, and purchase orders
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and reporting
Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
Prepare and submit regular project status reports to management
Qualifications:
3–7 years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator in construction
Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, codes, and best practices
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project documentation
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera)
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
