Your role, your impact

As a .NET Tech Lead, you’ll play a key role in providing strategic and technical support to our clients. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team, leverage your expertise in .NET, and contribute to the growth of talent around you.

Your day-to-day

  • Design, develop and implement modern, robust and scalable software solutions using .NET technologies;
  • Resolve complex technical issues by quickly analyzing complex situations and proposing pragmatic solutions;
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, consistency and the sharing of best practices within the team;
  • Take on a technical leadership role within the team, creating a work environment where everyone can express themselves, learn and contribute;
  • Provide coaching and training to developers, supporting them in a personalized manner in their technical and professional development;
  • Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, Scrums, retrospectives), promoting listening, transparency and continuous improvement;
  • Actively participate in business needs analysis;
  • Act as a facilitator between stakeholders (POs, architecture consultants, quality assurance, etc.), building bridges between technical expertise and business objectives;
  • Organize technology watch workshops to share emerging trends with junior developers.

Keys to your success

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering, or diploma of college studies (DEC) with equivalent professional experience;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in .NET development, including 2 to 3 years of experience as a tech lead;
  • Experience with the .NET stack (C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework) as well as relational databases (SQL Server);
  • Knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Sprint), Waterfall and hybrid methodologies, with the ability to adapt to client practices;
  • Strong leadership, initiative, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Extra edge

  • Experience with Angular;
  • Industry experience in insurance, financial services, or other business sectors;
  • Experience in consulting services.

  • English: Proficient

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a regular basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec.
