Shift :  Mon-Friday 7am-5pm

The role you’ll contribute: 

The Medical Receptionist is responsible for answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, reviewing new patient registration, entering patient information into the practice's designated system, requesting and collecting co-pays/outstanding balances at the time of check-in/check-out. This individual is responsible for taking accurate messages and routing correspondence efficiently. Serves as a liaison between patients and support staff.

  • Answers incoming phone calls, responds to inquiries, and directs calls appropriately.

  • Welcomes patients; updates, verifies, and enters patient demographics, insurance, and billing information and processes forms into appropriate systems.

  • Registers patients for services, ensures accuracy, facilitates timely discharge, and maximizes reimbursement.

  • Ensures all financial assessments, eligibility, and benefits memos are clear, updated, and thorough to support post-care financial needs.

  • Maintains a working relationship with clinical partners to ensure open communication between clinical, ancillary, and patient access departments, enhancing patient experiences.

  • Provides timely and continual coverage of assigned work area to offer prompt patient service and availability for all clinical partners’ registration needs.
