Wage Range: $20.83 to $26.04 per hour

Position Summary

As a valued member of Team JDMI you will play a key role in providing administrative support to health professionals and leaders of multi-site department.

Duties

• Answering screening and triaging telephone calls
• Receiving patients/visitors coming in for tests procedures and appointments
• Scheduling patients for tests special procedures and urgent/emergency appointments
• Following established procedures to ensure the efficient flow of patients and patient appointments
• Providing routine clerical support services

Qualifications :

• At minimum completion of a post- secondary certificate up to 1 year in Office Administration or recognized equivalent
• 6 months to 1 year experience using computer applications or health information system (i.e. EPIC MS Office)
• At minimum 1 year experience in front-line customer service
• General knowledge of office practices process and procedures 
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Knowledge of RIS CD burning software preferred
• Experience working in a health care environment an asset
• Knowledge of a second language an asset
