  • IT Operations and Infrastructure:
    • Manage the delivery of regional IT infrastructure, ensuring availability, integrity, and performance meet business needs.
    • Monitor IT systems to assess cost and productivity levels, providing recommendations for improvements.
    • Help troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to IT infrastructure.
    • Define and document IT infrastructure design and operational processes.
    • Act as point of contact for Japan Operation and Infrastructure
  • Vendor and Partner Management:
    • Manage relationships of managed service providers, ensuring vendors meet performance expectations.
    • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance regularly, driving continuous improvement and holding partners accountable for quality, cost, and delivery outcomes.
    • Work with global teams on contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring alignment with business goals.
    • Build relationship with local internal/external stakeholders

Demand Management:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to anticipate and manage demand for IT services in the region.
  • Ensure IT services are scaled effectively to meet evolving business requirements and prioritize demand in alignment with business needs.
  • Handle new demand

Data-Driven Continuous Improvement:

  • Leverage performance metrics and data to identify areas for service improvement, ensuring services are continuously optimized to meet business needs.
  • Use data to drive decision-making and implement initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Oversee daily activities and planning, delegating effectively while providing focus and guidance.
  • Coordinate and lead the externals who supports I/O function for Japan.

Strategic Collaboration:

  • Contribute to the development of IT infrastructure and operations (I&O) strategy in collaboration with the regional director,global I&O teams and local business and IT
  • Review regional IT needs and coordinate with local stakeholders and Corporate IT to secure approvals and implement infrastructure programs.
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders to develop tailored IT solutions.
  • Work closely with Japan IT and business to ensure network deliverables meets local specifications.

Project Management:

  • Lead and participate in IT projects, including the design and deployment of new systems and services.
  • Conduct project studies, plan regional IT initiatives, and ensure timely delivery of IT products for development efforts.
  • Work closely with Corporate IT to implement corporate IT strategies and directives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with local teams, ensuring prompt support and addressing concerns effectively.
  • Communicate IT updates, initiatives, and changes to local stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Policy . Standards and Security :

  • Develop and implement quality standards, policies, and procedures for IT activities in line with Corporate IT policies.
  • Contribute to defining and designing corporate IT infrastructure strategies and processes.
  • Incident and Risk Management:
  • Handle local IT incidents and service requests, escalating issues to the global team when required.
  • Identify and mitigate IT risks, ensuring robust business continuity.
  • Handle the I&O related security topics with regional security team and local stakeholders

Other Duties:

  • Perform additional duties, functions, or services consistent with vocational ability, as required from time to time
