Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a plastic injection facility in Caledonia, Michigan is looking to add an industrial machine cleaner to their team!



Machine Cleaner Overview:
1st shift: 6:45a - 3:25p
$18/hr
*Maintenance intern position



Machine Cleaner Job Duties:

• Clean, wipe down, and sanitize industrial machines according to established cleaning procedures
• Remove debris, plastic, oil, grease, and residue from machinery, floors, guards, and workstations.
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks during scheduled shutdowns or maintenance periods.
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures when required to safely clean equipment.
• Inspect machines during cleaning and report any damage, wear, or unsafe conditions to maintenance or supervisors.
• Use appropriate cleaning tools, solvents, and chemicals safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area around all assigned machines.
• Properly dispose of waste materials, including scrap, rags, and chemicals.
• Follow all company safety rules, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.
• Complete required cleaning logs, checklists, and documents

Machine Cleaner Qualifications:

• Industrial machine cleaning experience required
• Mechanically inclined
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
