Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ø Provide direct support to the Vice President
Ø Manage the Vice President’s calendar and contacts.
Ø Draft correspondence as requested, including editing and processing of correspondence.
Ø Facilitate travel arrangements and collect briefing materials and other documents for review or distribution.
Ø Monitor email and voice mail, screen phone messages and ensure that calls are returned in a timely fashion.
Ø Provide the Vice President with materials for meetings and committees including President’s Cabinet, Trustee Development Committee, Parent Leadership Council, Alumni Board, Campaign Committee, and other commitments as necessary.
Ø Provide administrative support for projects involving current and potential donors.
Ø Create presentation materials and collateral materials for special projects.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The individual must possess knowledge, skills and ability to be able to successfully perform the essential functions of the position or be able to explain or demonstrate how the essential functions will be performed, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Ø Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ø Strong organizational skills.
Ø Excellent computer skills including a familiarity with a wide range of software packages, particularly Microsoft Office.
