Job Description

Quality Assurance Manager - Lead Quality for Mission-Critical Technologies

At Teledyne Energy Systems, Inc., you'll join a team known for engineering innovation that supports energy, aerospace, and defense technologies worldwide. In this role, you'll help ensure the quality and reliability of products that power critical missions. You'll work with talented engineers, contribute to continuous improvement, and help shape processes that keep our operations strong. What you'll do
  • Lead quality assurance efforts to ensure products meet company and customer standards.
  • Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and improvements.
  • Oversee audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Validate quality processes, documentation, and performance metrics.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and leadership on new product and process initiatives.
  • Manage and coach quality team members, ensuring accountability and growth.
  • Prepare and analyze quality documentation, reports, and trends.
  • Support compliance with safety, regulatory, and import/export requirements.
  • Stay current on quality trends and best practices.


What you need
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills - required.
  • Ability to manage complex issues and drive decisions - required.
  • Experience leading teams in a manufacturing or technical environment - required.
  • Knowledge of ISO, AS9100, Lean, or Six Sigma principles - advantage.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems - advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field - required.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination - required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance - required.

Salary Range:
$114,800.00-$153,100.000
