Your Role:

As a Chief/Senior Estimator, you’ll be the strategic force behind winning bids and successful builds. You’ll work on a diverse portfolio of industrial, commercial, institutional (ICI), and high-rise residential projects—ranging in size from $10 million to $200 million.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate take-offs and cost estimates.
• Conduct estimate reviews and governance requirement reviews of less experienced staff.
• Research new materials, methods, and technologies.
• Build and maintain relationships with trades, suppliers, and consultants.
• Analyze quotes and ensure all scope elements are covered.
• Identify market opportunities and monitor project leads.
• Collaborate with leadership to strategize proposals and project approaches.
• Determine annual labour and equipment costs.

What You Bring:

• 10+ years of experience in the Canadian construction industry.
• Proven background in ICI or high-rise residential estimation, project sizes up to $100M+.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and estimating software (e.g., OnScreen Takeoff).
• Degree or diploma in Engineering or Construction Management.
• You must be able to obtain a Government of Canada, Secret level security clearance.
