Our client, a leader in international trade services, is seeking a Driver to join their team. As a Driver, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting the logistics and transportation of vehicles across Canada and the US. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and a customer-first mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Driver
Location: Eastern Passage, NS
Pay Range: $80,000yearly What's the Job?- Safely and timely pickup and delivery of vehicles within designated locations.
- Perform vehicle inspections and prepare condition reports for accuracy.
- Load and unload cars, trucks, and vans as required.
- Maintain regular communication with Dispatch to ensure customer needs are met.
- Complete daily logs, fuel, mileage, and run sheets accurately.
What's Needed?- Class 1 license with Air brake endorsement and a minimum of 1 year of experience transporting cars.
- Experience with tractor-trailer equipment and manual transmissions.
- Knowledge of proper loading, load securement, and weight distribution techniques.
- Ability to follow all Hours of Service regulations and traffic laws.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
