Job Description

My client is one of Chicago's oldest and most reputable General Contractors who complete over $600M in annual revenue. They perform work in various project sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, retail, hospitality and more. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join their team and help drive the success of key projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and engineers
• Support procurement of materials and equipment
• Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
• Help manage project timelines and ensure milestones are met
• Prepare and maintain project reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates
• Attend client, subcontractor, and team meetings as needed
• Assist in punch list creation and project closeout activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
• 2+ years Project Management experience with a GC
• Proficiency with construction management software

Job Offer

• $90,000 - $115,000 base salary
