Warehouse Staff - Japanese Company Job Num: 58083 Warehouse / Distribution Job Description Title: Warehouse Staff Pay: $45-50k/year Full-time, Non-Exempt LOCATION: Torrance, CA Summary: The Japanese game gadget company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Staff member to join their team. The role involves shipping, receiving, labeling, data entry, and general warehouse support. This is a hands-on position requiring physical activity and teamwork. Some lifting is required. Main Responsibilities: Shipping & Packaging (Main Tasks) Pick and prepare customer orders. Check stock availability and report any shortages. Lift and carry boxes up to 50 lbs as part of the order picking and packing process. Package and ship orders according to guidelines. Prepare shipping labels and finalize shipments. Monitor packaging supplies and request restock as needed. Labeling Create and verify shipping labels. Follow packaging rules from vendors. Ensure label information is correct. Receiving & Returns Receive and inspect incoming shipments. Unload, sort, and stock products. Handle returned goods and prepare them for disposal. Report damaged or incorrect shipments. Inventory Conduct inventory checks twice a month. Keep inventory accurate and organized. Report any differences to the supervisor. Data Entry & Office Support Input customer and vendor information. Support EDI and routing requests. Process orders, invoices, samples, and replacements. Assist with customer service and shipping coordination. Training & Clean Up Help train new staff. Keep the warehouse clean and equipment properly stored. Other Duties Work independently with minimal supervision. Organize tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
