Prestige VMD Manager

VMD Manager for Prestige will lead design and visual merchandising efforts across the Japan market in accordance with all the brand guidelines for our entire portfolio of brands under the COTY Prestige Division.

You will be the bridge between your internal Marketing Team to spearhead and execute best-in-class luxury retail excellence for our points-of-sales and products to support the achievement of our commercial KPIs. You will also hold project management responsibilities for our business expansion and acceleration plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main focus:

STORE OPENING (PERMANENT MERCHANDISING)

• Work closely with Merchandising manager for all new permanent design plans, ensuring that guidelines are adhered to, and the relevant approvals are obtained from both Global Teams and Fashion Houses in a timely manner
• Ensure all VM collaterals needed for every store opening are planned, ordered and catered for

OUT POST EVENT

• Work closely with Merchandising manager for all event design plans, ensuring that guidelines are adhered to, and the relevant approvals are obtained from both Global Teams and Fashion Houses in a timely manner

LAUNCH DEVELOPMENT & ANIMATIONS (TEMPORARY MERCHANDISING)

• As part of the 360° launch plan, assist in ensuring that support is given to your Marketing Team in terms of visual merchandising updates as well as animations, including PR and consumer events
• Communicate the specific needs of the local market to the Regional/Global Teams during the submission and approval process
• Retro-planning for all launches and animations is required to ensure the Trade Planning Calendar and deadlines are well managed
• Ensure quality execution with a touch of luxury finesse, which is required for the COTY portfolio of brands

POINT-OF-SALE MANAGEMENT

• Ensure visibility and top-notch presentation of our brands and products through store visits
• Coach and instill discipline in our Beauty Advisors for brand representation
• Handle all launch POSM offering orders from Global with alignment from Brand Managers

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You like to make a difference . As an experienced Visual Merchandising professional, you will share your valuable experience with the team, and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you should also have the following requirements:

• University graduate from artistic college
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience as VM or previous experience in luxury cosmetics or fragrance brand
• You can work independently in a fast-paced working environment with tight deadlines
• You have experience working in global company, is a strong communicator and cooperates well with both internal and external stakeholders
• You are customer-centric and possess a good understanding of consumer journey and shopper’s experience, with proficiency in retail channel
• Proficient English in both written and oral communication
• Good PC skills and familiar with word, Excel, PPT, AI and PS.
• Travel as required
