Job Description

About QuickMD:

Welcome to QuickMD! We are a premier telemedicine provider offering exceptional virtual care across 44 states. Since our start in 2019, we have proudly supported over 100,000 patients in accessing essential medical services, primarily focusing on addiction care while also offering weight management and general telehealth services. Our innovative approach and robust physician support have established us as a trusted leader in the telemedicine field.

We value flexibility and autonomy, allowing physicians to create their own schedules and work remotely without the burden of administrative tasks. With our streamlined EMR and dedicated support team, you can concentrate on what you do best: providing quality patient care. At QuickMD, we offer competitive compensation ($35 per consult), with top-performing physicians in high-demand areas earning an average of $200 per hour and many exceeding $400K annually. This role requires a commitment of at least 15-20 hours per week.

Joining QuickMD means becoming part of a dedicated network of physicians working to enhance access to care, support addiction recovery efforts, and improve outcomes for underserved communities.

Job Description:

We are on the lookout for compassionate, dedicated physicians licensed in multiple states to become part of our team. Whether you are experienced in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care, this position offers the chance to practice modern, patient-centric medicine without the confines of a traditional setting. While the majority of our services are delivered virtually, in-person hybrid roles may also be available.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional virtual care, conducting patient assessments, reviewing medical histories, and prescribing appropriate treatments.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care, fostering therapeutic relationships with patients.
  • Order and interpret lab tests to inform high-quality treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe medications and offer guidance on their usage (specializing in buprenorphine for opioid addiction treatment only).
  • Collaborate with a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and experienced nurses to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
  • Keep current with advancements in medicine, telehealth innovation, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, preferably five, and a willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided, costs covered).
  • Must be licensed in five states or in three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX.
  • Experience in treating patients in telehealth environments or high-volume in-person settings.
  • Ability to work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM local time) over a minimum of four days, scheduled at least one week in advance.
  • Strong communication skills and an unwavering commitment to medical excellence.
  • Comfortable with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
  • A passion for expanding access to quality care and making a meaningful difference.
  • At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required).

Why Top Physicians Choose QuickMD:

  • Complete schedule flexibility—work from anywhere, on your own terms.
  • Highly competitive compensation, with many providers earning over $400K annually while maintaining a balanced workload.
  • No administrative responsibilities—focus entirely on patient care, free from billing and overhead issues.
  • Quick onboarding process, supported by a dedicated concierge service to expedite your integration.
  • Full malpractice insurance coverage, alongside legal and compliance support.
  • Advanced, user-friendly telemedicine technology to enhance physician efficiency.
  • An opportunity to significantly impact addiction treatment and assist underserved communities.

As part of the onboarding process, all physicians will complete relevant training, which may include buprenorphine certification. Malpractice insurance is provided (3m/1m). 1099 form will be issued at the end of the year.
