Hospitality client is seeking a Video Editor to join their team. We are looking for a visionary storyteller who can capture top-tier content that can be turned into a compelling and relevant story that will connect with the target audience.

This is a hybrid temp to hire position in Calabasas work on-site 4 days a week 1 day remote.

Essential Responsibilities

• Create video exports and motion graphics for various media- social media, presentations, trainings, and interactive maps.
• Procure animations including text manipulation, special effects, compositing, green screen keying, matte development, masking, and motion tracking.
• Work with Creative to select audio, video, color grade treatments, and supportive animation.
• Assist in live event and studio productions when needed.
• Must have knowledge of various social media platforms and how to use video to engage with our target audience.
• Edit all incoming and existing photo assets.
• Manipulate photos as needed- with heavy focus on landscapes, lifestyle, and hospitality imagery.
• Ensure adherence to style guide and branding message.
• Collaborate with on-site photographers and in-house Creative Manager to ensure alignment.

Experience:

• Degree in film, advertising, or related field or 5 years video editing and photography experience.
• Strong understanding of videography and storytelling
• Proficiency in Premiere and the Creative Cloud
• Experience in special effects using After Effects.
• Travel and Outdoor Industry experience preferred.
• Must have knowledge of various social media platforms and how to use video to engage with target audience.
• Must have strong technical skills with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, and Illustrator.
