We’re looking for a visionary leader to join our executive team as Vice President of Technical Services . This is a pivotal role overseeing our core technical business units — where your leadership will shape project excellence, drive strategic growth, and leave a lasting environmental legacy.

What You’ll Do

As VP of Technical Services, you will:

  • Set strategic direction for all technical departments, ensuring alignment with company vision and business objectives.
  • Champion technical innovation and excellence in project delivery across environmental engineering, contaminated sites, and biological services.
  • Collaborate with department heads and the business development team to identify growth opportunities and expand our market presence.
  • Oversee project planning and execution to ensure exceptional client outcomes and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of department heads and technical professionals, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement .
  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources to maximize impact and profitability .

What You Bring

  • 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting in British Columbia, including 5+ years in senior leadership .
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A professional designation (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., R.P.Bio.) is required; CSAP designation or business education is a strong asset.
  • Proven expertise in site assessment, remediation, and environmental regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership, team building, and communication skills — with a track record of empowering others and leading change.
  • Strong business acumen , including experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • A results-driven mindset with a passion for environmental stewardship and innovation .
