Our client is seeking a UX Writer to join their design team focusing on Financial Planning. Working with a dedicated team of designers, writers, and developers, this role will produce and support several key deliverables critical to our evolving digital web experience. The UX Writer will participate in large projects helping to define a digital financial planning experience on the Canadian secure website.
The UX Writer will take ownership of the documentation, producing content which fosters efficient and effective client experiences. They’ll have a strong understanding of the UX process, and have experience working with design teams, taking ownership of content development and approvals.
Responsibilities :Partner with designers to create content for digital experiences.
Actively collaborate with designers to design and create content for our client’s online digital platform.
Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Product teams to ensure compliance with editorial standards and best practices for all content
Manage stakeholder consultations, present your work to various audiences, incorporate feedback, and ensure the steps are followed to obtain sign off from stakeholders and partners
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and practices.
Share your knowledge and UX expertise to help build the content practice
Qualifications:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience of professional UX writing experience.
Excellent writing and editing skills along with strong attention to detail
Experience working as part of a larger design team, partnering with UX designers and product owners
Strong knowledge of the UX design / writing process
Experience working in a large financial institution, preferable in Insurance or Banking
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Committed to a hands-on, proactive approach to learning about the product and its audience
Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment.
Growth mindset and an openness to taking on new challenges and learning new concepts/skills
Experience working in Agile methodology an asset
Experience with Figma, Jira and Confluence
