Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Urology

Location: Goldsboro, NC

Wayne Health Urological Associates, a well-established and growing urology practice, has been serving the Goldsboro, NC community for over 30 years. We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team.

• Team Composition: Join two experienced Urologists with over 25 years of combined expertise.
• Support & Collaboration : Opportunity to learn from skilled colleagues or bring your current skillset to a collaborative environment.
• Call Schedule: 1:5 shared call rotation with an affiliated two-physician group in Kinston, NC.
• Hospital Coverage:

Primary hospital: UNC Health Wayne (formerly Wayne Memorial Hospital)

Additional call coverage: UNC Health Lenoir in Kinston, NC

• Clinic Location : About one mile from UNC Health Wayne
• Support System : Skillful clinical and administrative staff
• Hospitalist Support: In-house hospitalist service available

Candidate Requirements :

• Licensed NP or PA in the state of North Carolina (or eligible)
• Interest or experience in Urology preferred
• New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply!

Education Requirements:
Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
Professional Experience Requirements:
No prior experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
Demonstrated clinical competency.
Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.
Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
