As a Traveling Medical Sonographer , you will be crucial in providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services to patients at different healthcare facilities. You will be essential to our team, ensuring patients receive the utmost care and attention during their medical journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures following established protocols and guidelines.
  
• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure its proper functionality.
  
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation.
  
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of ultrasound images.
  
• Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a comfortable and safe environment during procedures.
  
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.
  
• Travel to various healthcare facilities on assignment, including hospitals, clinics, and medical centers.
  
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in ultrasound technology.
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid and current registration with Sonography Canada
  
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
  
• Proficiency in performing abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and other relevant ultrasound procedures.
  
• Strong understanding of ultrasound physics, anatomy, and pathology.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to adapt to different work environments and collaborate with various medical teams.
  
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively.
  
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
  
• Provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination as per provincial Immunization Policy.
  
• Must be willing to undergo a background check.
