Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position with night shifts, EPIC EMR experience, and floating requirements.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) within a hospital setting
• Float as needed to NICU, CV PICU, Emergency Department, stepdown, and medical-surgical units
• Night shift schedule, working 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Cares for pediatric patients requiring critical care
• Uses EPIC electronic medical records system; experience is required
• Responsibilities include providing critical care to pediatric patients and supporting care in float units as assigned
• Must be willing and prepared to float to designated units as operationally needed
• Timeliness is critical; travelers are considered late after 3 minutes
• No first-time traveler restrictions, though those with over 3 years of experience and Level 1 Trauma experience are preferred
• No on-call responsibilities
• First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years pediatric ICU experience highly preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required for first-time travelers
• Two professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a manager or supervisor
• Cannot have worked as a permanent employee for the specified health system within the past 2 years
• No local candidates allowed within a 60-mile radius
