Job Description

This role is a Finance and Accounting Assistant position supporting daily bookkeeping, payments, and monthly closing in a bilingual environment. It offers a unique chance to take over core finance responsibilities within a supportive team.

Description

* Maintain financial documents and records.
* Support bookkeeping, journal entries, and vendor/employee expense payments.
* Assist in monthly closing and prepare Excel-based financial reports.
* Collaborate with vendors, certified professionals, and internal teams in English and Japanese.
* Contribute to internal controls and operational improvements.

Profile

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or IT.
* Bookkeeping certification (Boki 3 or above preferred).
* 0-3+ years of accounting or finance administration experience.
* Knowledge of JGAAP, tax filings, and full-cycle accounting desirable.
* Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with systems such as Kanjyo Bugyo Cloud and Rakuraku Seisan.
* Business-level English; Japanese preferred but not required.
* Strong problem-solving skills, organizational ability, and a proactive mindset.

Job Offer

* Monthly salary of ¥350,000-¥400,000 depending on experience.
* Temp-to-perm role with the possibility of inheriting the finance division.
