The Japan subsidiary offers a collaborative and supportive work environment, providing opportunities for professional growth and development within a stable and established organization.■Role & ResponsibilitiesAs a Tax Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the tax compliance and optimization for our client's Japanese operations. You will work closely with the Head of Tax Japan and collaborate with various internal departments, including M&A, Legal, Accounting, and Strategy teams. You will be responsible for the preparation of tax returns and reports, handling tax audits, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the tax position of the assigned unit. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to international taxation and cross-border reorganization projects, developing your expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment.■Main tasks include・Prepare and file various tax returns (corporate tax, consumption tax, etc.) and tax reports.・Manage tax audits and ensure compliance with local tax laws and internal policies.・Coordinate with internal departments and overseas group companies on tax-related matters.・Contribute to strategic tax planning and optimization initiatives.・Handle domestic and international tax issues for group companies (excluding payroll).・Support cross-border reorganizations (share transfer, liquidation, etc.).・Collaborate with external tax consultants.・Provide financial accounting staff with tax advice and assistance.If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply now.We look forward to hearing from you.#LI-Hybrid

求められる経験
■Requirements
・3+ years of tax consulting experience at an accounting firm with international clients.
・Business-level English proficiency.
Partial completion of the Zeirishi (Certified Public Tax Accountant) Examination (at least one accounting area and one tax laws area).
・Advanced knowledge of domestic and international tax for multinational entities.
・Strong understanding of IFRS/Local GAAP.
Advanced financial statement analysis skills.
・Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
・Experience with tax compliance in a large, multi-branch company is a plus.
・Qualified tax accountant certification is a plus.
・Japanese language proficiency
