The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Storeroom Supervisor to join the team! Joinone of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the worldand after a$400M renovation ( and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.
Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages, and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.
**Classification: ** Temporary - position ends December 2025
Shift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
**Pay Rate: ** The pay rate for this role is $30.00 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
·Ensure all deliveries are received in accordance with hotel specifications, including verifying accuracy against purchase orders, receiving sheets, pricing, quantities, and weights.
·Maintain the storeroom in a clean, organized, and secure condition at all times.
·Supervise and validate that all products leaving the storeroom are properly requisitioned and approved according to hotel policy.
·Coordinate the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring guest mail is accurately logged and handled with care.
·Manage the arrival and departure of group boxes and shipments, ensuring proper coordination and billing of associated charges.
·Assist with sourcing and ordering of food and beverage items, maintaining communication with relevant departments to meet operational needs.
·Supervise, train, and assign daily tasks to storeroom clerks, ensuring efficient and accurate completion of all duties.
·Monitor stock levels and collaborate with purchasing to reorder supplies as necessary.
·Uphold safety and hygiene standards within the storeroom environment.
