Job Description

Turner & Townsend seeks a Stage Gate Project Manager to join our San Francisco team, partnering with a global technology client on Data Center construction projects.

The ideal candidate has a project management background in design and construction, with experience in Design, Architecture, Civil, or Construction works.

The Stage Gate process in project management is a control mechanism to assess projects periodically before further investment, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Gates serve as hold points for review of costs and risks to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct readiness and quality assurance assessments for stage gate implementations.
  • Prepare executive summaries for each project.
  • Analyze project documents to identify requirements based on templates and approaches.
  • Report progress and follow-up with stakeholders.
  • Develop and publish a 3-month look-ahead schedule for assessments.
  • Improve existing stage gate processes.
  • Document assessments in a cloud repository.
  • Maintain the Stage Gate website and dashboard.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and implement improvements.
  • Coordinate meetings with project teams.
  • Support process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Ensure high-quality client service delivery.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Assist in planning and executing team workshops.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
  • Experience managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Knowledge of Design, Architecture, Civil works.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent presentation and client-facing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Additional Information

The salary range is $150K-$180K annually, based on experience and qualifications. Compensation may vary.
