Job description:

Position Title: Shipper/Receiver

Position: Position is for an electronics firm who develop and program a variety of electronic control modules and touchscreen products for the RV, Marine and Specialty vehicle markets.

Job Summary: The position will include:

• Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipping

· Prepare paperwork for shipments, create mailing labels and shipping documents

• Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment
• Create and organize shipment documentation, including mailing labels and shipping forms
• Conduct quality checks on products during the picking and packing process
• Collaborate and communicate with customer service, quality control, production, sales, and other teams to ensure shipments are completed on schedule
• Track shipments and resolve problems with FedEx/Customs
• Coordinate with delivery drivers to pick up palletized shipments (skids)
• Notify customer service on any schedule or order changes
• Accurately receive products (quantities, quality) according to packing slips, scan all packing slips into computer for digital recording, and advise manager & purchasing department of any inaccuracies in packing slips vs. incoming products
• Sign for incoming shipments as required, ensuring accuracy of incoming packages and marking any potential damages as required
• Receiving in-house production: verify finished parts, ensure parts are properly packaged, distribute parts as required (shipping shelf, stock, etc.) and update tasks as required
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure equipment is kept in good condition
• Accurately record all incoming and outgoing shipments

Position Hours: Full time
