The Shipper and Receiver ships, receives and records the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from an establishment.

Responsibilities - Loading and unloading goods from carriers and vendors
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and record damaged goods. Report shortages and damages to Parts Manager immediately
- Pull and package orders, to ship out in assigned shipping methods
- Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
- Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
- Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems
- Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods
- Verifies all packing slips with parts pulled to ensure product and quantities being shipped are correct
- Pick-up and deliver parts as required
- Assemble, check and ship returns
- Other duties and projects, as assigned
Qualifications - 2+ years warehouse experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract required
- Forklift certification is an asset
- Experience strapping loads for secure transport
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities
- Effective problem solving and negotiating skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills
Compensation Rate
- $20.27 - $24.77 per hour
- Pay rate will be determined based on previous experience, relevant certifications and skill level
