What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research and analyze the environmental effects, costs, and benefits of policies and regulations
- Program in R and develop complex regression analyses and micro-simulation models
- Meet with client agencies to understand their needs and present solutions
- Support new business capture and proposal efforts
- Mentor and supervise junior staff, attend client meetings, and publish research papers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's (MA/MS) degree in public policy, economics/resource economics, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- 5+ years of experience in economic and regulatory analyses in US policy areas
- 5+ years of experience working on environment and public health programs or projects
- 2+ years of experience conducting benefit-cost analyses and quantifying regulatory benefits

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Doctorate (PhD) degree in public policy, economics/resource economics, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of experience programming in R and/or STATA
- Knowledge of federal government rulemaking process and economic analysis requirements
- Experience in non-market valuation approaches
- Project and people leadership experience
