Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer (Contract)
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to support a large-scale product and platform organization within the design and manufacturing software industry. This role focuses on CI/CD strategy, monorepo architecture, and scalable automation supporting distributed engineering teams.
Contract Details
• Length: 12-month contract
• Location: Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal
• Work Model: Remote with cross-time-zone collaboration
What You’ll Do
• Lead CI/CD pipeline strategy and execution
• Own monorepo setup, maintenance, and dependency management
• Improve build, test, and release automation at scale
• Drive DevOps best practices across engineering teams
Must-Have Qualifications
• 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering
• Hands-on CI/CD experience (CloudBees, Jenkins, Spinnaker)
• Strong monorepo experience (Nx preferred)
• NodeJS and Shell scripting
• AWS experience
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Platform-centric engineering experience
• Front-end testing tools (Playwright)
• Azure experience
• Jira, Confluence, Slack
