Senior Controls Software Development Engineer
Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Controls Software Development Engineer to lead the design and implementation of software solutions for control systems in turbo machinery and rotating equipment. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise in PLC programming and controls to enhance operational efficiency in the oil and gas sector, particularly focusing on gas turbines and power processes.
Key Responsibilities - Design and develop control software for turbo machinery and rotating equipment.
- Implement PLC programming and control strategies for optimized performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and ensure integration with existing systems.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure software reliability and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and expertise to project teams during the development lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews and technical presentations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in control software development, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and control systems.
- Experience with turbo machinery, gas turbines, and rotating equipment.
- Familiarity with power processes and their operational requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
