What you’ll do

 

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern – Software Developer

 

Location: Vancouver, BC

 

Expected Start Date: October 2025

 

Contract Duration: 8 months

 

Work Hours: 40 hours per week

 

• As part of a team developing services in the cloud, you will be participating in design and development of one or more components of the overall product
• Develop code in Backend using Java programming language and/or Frontend, using JavaScript, React, and Redux
• Test your code by writing unit tests, integration tests, and test automation
• Troubleshoot your code and ensure high quality delivery

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

 

Education: Computer Science or related field of study

 

Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program.

 

• Passionate about learning and exploring new technologies
• Have taken courses in or developed in one of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or C++
• A team player who builds bridges not silos

 

Meet your team

 

Our team consists of 10 engineers working on Backend as well as Frontend development. We are based in Newport Beach, CA. We are in office 3 days a week and work remotely 2 days. This position will be based in Vancouver, BC and is required to be in Pacific time zone.

SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 24-35 CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
